Situated in the peaceful Tamar Valley, Rubbytown Farm is an ideal place to stay for a relaxing holiday or a short break.  There are gorgeous walks from the farm where you can see abundant wild flowers and wildlife.

We pride ourselves on our hospitality and to ensure our guests receive the attention they deserve throughout their stay the number of B&B guests is limited to four at any one time.

Whilst retaining its charm, the house is furnished to a high standard of comfort and offers accommodation which is spacious and enjoys magnificent views of the local countryside.

Our accommodation has been inspected by Visit Britain and has been awarded four stars in the farmhouse accommodation category.

What our guests have said -

"As we said at the time we had a lovely stay and you made us feel very welcome. Next day we went on to Padstow and had a pleasant time. However despite a good breakfast there my family all agreed your breakfast was tastier. Especially your sausages, they were superb, quite possibly the best I have ever had, and your tomatoes were sublime ".

"Just wanted to thank you again for a lovely weekend, it did us the world of good".

"Just a belated thankyou for looking after us the other weekend. We had a great weekend with our friends - made all the more enjoyable by your hospitality"

"We enjoyed our stay very much and would like to thank you for being such a kind host. We shall certainly be recommending Rubbytown to our friends".

Rubbytown Farm is also a member of Devon Farms accommodation group which offers accommodation on working farms throughout Devon.

Situated just four miles from the ancient Stannary (Tin) Town of Tavistock, a thriving market town on the edge of Dartmoor and the birthplace of Sir Francis Drake.

Tavistock has recently been awarded the title of “Best Market Town in Devon”, why don’t you come and see why?

Rubbytown Farm is ideally situated for visiting Dartmoor, Morwellham Quay and the World Heritage Site that incorporates the bordering historic Devon Great Consols mine area.
